Information We Collect
When you use SocialHub, we collect information you provide directly, such as your name and email address when you create an account. Through Google OAuth authentication, we access your Google account profile information (name, email address, profile picture, and language preference). If you connect YouTube accounts, we access YouTube data including channel information, video metadata, comments, subscribers, and analytics — strictly with your explicit permission via Google's OAuth consent screen. We only access the minimum data necessary to provide our services.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to provide, maintain, and improve our social media management services. This includes: managing your connected social accounts, creating a public profile page with your links and social media content, displaying your content across platforms via embeddable widgets, analyzing engagement metrics, generating performance reports, and providing customer support. We do not sell your personal information or YouTube data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
YouTube API Services
SocialHub uses YouTube API Services to provide YouTube channel integration features. By connecting your YouTube account to SocialHub, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) governs Google's handling of your data when using YouTube API Services. You can revoke SocialHub's access to your YouTube data at any time via the Google Security Settings page (https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption protocols. We use AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel only, and we implement strict access controls, regular security audits, and vulnerability assessments. All data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at contact@banglabs.xyz. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal information, connected accounts data, and YouTube data within 30 days. We may retain certain information as required by applicable law or for legitimate business purposes, but only to the extent necessary.
Third-Party Access and Sharing
SocialHub integrates with third-party platforms (Google, YouTube, Twitch, and other social networks) solely through their official APIs. We do not share your data with these platforms beyond what is necessary to provide the service you request. We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not use third-party analytics services that collect personal data. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytical purposes that cannot be used to identify you.
Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (subject to legal obligations); withdraw consent for data processing at any time; and request portability of your data in a machine-readable format. SocialHub uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We also use analytics cookies to understand how you interact with our platform. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across third-party websites.
